Mission Statement and Info:

We strive to prepare young men to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, and Outdoor Code.

We are BOY LEAD and adult guided!  Scouting has a reputation for helping youth develop self-reliance, strong character, respect for others, good citizenship skills, and physical and mental fitness. For over a century, our programs have instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they need to become leaders in their communities.

We follow the founder of Boy Scouts, Lord Badden Powell's ideals and promote the boys experience to be "fun with a purpose".  With Troop 316, boys build confidence through experience in a safe environment. We take our responsibility to these young men very seriously, and invite you to look more closely at our Troop and attend a meeting to get to know more about us.
